Your Time Travels is a travel company for animal lovers. There are countless tourist activities all over the world that appear innocent on the surface but in reality harmfully exploit animals. We only support activities that are truly responsible towards animals. Our trips are for travelers who want to have exciting adventures without them being at the expense of other living creatures. By engaging in the activities we promote you will have a far more educational, fulfilling and unforgettable experience!
Whether you want to volunteer abroad with animal welfare projects (while mixing in amazing sightseeing, adventure and cultural activities and hotel stays!), observe animals in their natural habitats through safari adventures, enjoy amazing vegetarian/vegan resorts, visit animal sanctuaries, or travel in the U.S. with your own adorable pets, we can help you get you there. We'll cater everything to your schedule and needs. We'll never promote any activity or hotel that exploits animals, cages them for display purposes, or forces them to provide entertainment.
To maximize the amount of money retained by local communities we use local guides and tour leaders who were born and raised in the country they work in. They can take you off the beaten tourist path and educate you on the country's history and culture. Whenever possible we also recommend eco-lodges and vegan resorts for your stays.
We customize your vacation so that you leave when you want to and you get as much adventure, relaxation, culture, luxury, etc., as you desire. PLUS you'll do unique, out of the ordinary activities to learn about, help, interact with, and respect animals. Zero exploitation allowed.
With our trips you get everything you would typically want out of a vacation but you make your vacation extra special and truly memorable by engaging in activities that do right by animals. I love animals. I think they are amazing, majestic and magnificent. They are the essence of nature. They are powerful, emotional, instinctual and full of sixth sense wisdom, but they are so vulnerable. They deserve so much more than they are given by our world.
I've felt an unspoken connection to our furry and feathery friends and an instinct to protect them basically since birth. But I took a different career path and spent six years working as a transactional attorney at a big New York corporate law firm. That career was not my destiny.
I was inspired to start this company after the things I witnessed during my volunteer work abroad at an elephant sanctuary in Thailand (see my launch video below for more details!). I realized then that tourists play an extremely important role in animal welfare just by using their tourist dollars. To truly help and learn about animals there are countless amazing activities tourists can engage in, and just as many that they should avoid.
Everyone can play their own unique role in spreading a message of compassion for animals. I've decided to do so through creating a travel company because unique mind blowing travel adventures with a purpose rock my own inner animal and I want to give them to as many people as possible.
My work as an attorney has trained me to be an amazing listener, researcher, problem solver, and detail oriented planner. I am now here to provide my skills for getting a deal closed to creating amazing animal friendly travel adventures just for you. I'm excited to work with you and give you an exciting and fulfilling - never ordinary - vacation.
